Nurse Specialist ARRMC

Asante is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Extended Floor Recovery department. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional care to patients recovering from surgery.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse in Extended Floor Recovery, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and providing education to patients and families. You will work closely with our experienced nursing staff to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care, assessing, and evaluating patient needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient safety and well-being
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care, medication management, and self-care techniques
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• 1 year of experience in an acute care setting, caring for postoperative patients, within the last 3 years
• OR 2 years of experience in a Surgery Center, in the postoperative phase of care, within the last 3 years
• Current Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 4 months of start date
