Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking outstanding college graduates in Electrical Engineering to join our Early Career Development (ECD) program as Electrical Engineers at our manufacturing facility in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

The ECD program is designed to build our future leaders from within, providing a customized learning and development plan to prepare you for a leadership role in three to five years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
  • Confirm system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods, testing properties.
  • Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
  • Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components, soliciting observations from operators.
  • Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
  • Support Operations, Maintenance, Environmental, and Engineering teams to result in safe, effective, sustainable, and cost-effective operations.
  • Utilize analysis and problem-solving tools.
  • Expand knowledge, experience, technical excellence, and proficiencies in key competencies in preparation for greater responsibilities.
  • Assist plant supervision in maintaining high standards for quality, environmental compliance, productivity, and safety.
  • Rotation of positions in other areas of the mill, including Shift Supervisor, to expand knowledge and experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Flexibility to work in a multi-shift operation.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, and team skills.
