Job Summary:

AirMed International is seeking a highly skilled Flight Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Flight RT, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with Global Medical Response protocols and medical direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Use a systematic approach to guide patient assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
Maintain clinical competence and continuing education for age-specific populations in which care is provided.
Collaborate with healthcare members to assess, provide, and evaluate patient care within the aircraft, airport, commercial airline, ground ambulance, or hospital/clinic setting.
Attend and participate in base meetings and educational offerings according to established guidelines.
Execute assigned tasks in an efficient manner and perform in a fast-paced environment.
Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical and flight personnel, patient, and equipment.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy.
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) with the primary state of practice.
Minimum of three years of recent experience in adult/neonatal/pediatric critical and/or acute care setting.
Current American Heart Association certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Provider.
Current passport and driver's license.
