We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription dispensing, and promoting a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient counseling and education on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other pharmacy staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with pharmacy practices and regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy operations and policies.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
