Job Responsibilities
  • Carries out various physical therapy procedures under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Provides treatment to relieve pain and to develop or restore function as ordered on Plan of Care

  • Instructs and supervises family members to provide continuous therapy and home treatment plan
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from a physical therapist assistant curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Current licensure and registration in the state of Florida
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • A valid Florida driver's license and a safe driving record
