Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Shearer's Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery
  • Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance duties
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments as needed
  • Set up, install, and maintain production equipment and machinery
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills
  • Experience with mechanical systems, product manuals, and troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
  • Ability to work within an integrated operating enterprise and manage priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics and ability to perform mechanical work, valve replacement, and conveyor bearing and chain replacement
