Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst - Standard candidate with relevant Defense, And Security Sector Experience to support professional services engagement for Defense, And Security Sector Clients such as the Department of Justice.

The ideal candidate will provide services and support as a Professional, Technical and Administrative Support Services (PTASS) (Business Analyst - Standard) in the Defense, And Security Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Guide clients in preparing functional specifications and project plans to assure client objectives are met on time and within cost.
  • Assist senior personnel in the development, design, and implementation of strategic planning projects.
  • Work with clients to define system needs and translate logic diagrams into program statements.
  • Assist in performing project management, workflow analysis, systems analysis, GAP analysis, integration, process design, user liaison, and systems deployment.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in the scripting designs of various platforms.
  • Prepare test bed requirements and perform system integration testing.
Qualifications

Desired Qualifications for Business Analyst - Standard:

  • Competent knowledge in project management methodologies. Project management certification a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, in computer science preferred with 3-4 years of experience OR 5+ years of related experience (with no degree).

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in project management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to guide clients in developing functional specifications and project plans.

Competencies Required:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
