Job Overview

As a Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) Tester, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing of high voltage surge arrestors. Under direct supervision, you will assist in the production of MOV blocks, ensuring that they meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the manufacturing of Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) blocks used in the assembly of high voltage surge arrestors.
  • Perform 100% visual inspection and sorting of MOV blocks.
  • Participate in 5S program and perform routine housekeeping to keep the area clean.
  • Package parts according to their letter class and label boxes.
  • Log defects in the database.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or factory experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hot and humid environment.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to function in a team environment.
