About the Role
This position involves conducting preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of systems, including complex control systems malfunctions. The successful candidate will provide high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on-site customer interface and properly complete required project and service documentation. They will also promote the sale of add-on work, adhere to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards, and provide safety awareness while working onsite with Johnson Controls subcontractors.

Main Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex control systems malfunctions using extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems and system software.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers through site assessments and data gathering. Offer field proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment, and assist sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.
- Manage assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction. Report problems or changes to management immediately and interface with relevant stakeholders to coordinate activities as required in an ethical and professional manner.

Qualifications
Vocational school graduate, Associate's degree in a technical field, or two years' experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems. Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment. Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites. Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people. Demonstrate effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications. Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building subsystems.
