Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Coordinator to join our Med Surg team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify educational needs and develop targeted training programs.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to improve their clinical skills and patient care outcomes.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing Education or a related field.
- Four years of nursing experience with a minimum of one year of teaching experience.
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
