Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Apex Therapeutic Services. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students exhibiting a range of communication disorders, including language, articulation, fluency, voice/resonance, and swallowing issues.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and address the communication needs of students with disabilities, including those with language, articulation, fluency, voice/resonance, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' academic, social/emotional, and vocational goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Contribute to the literacy achievement of students with communication disorders.
  • Support students with significant challenges, helping to determine methods for alternate learning.
  • Help identify long-term goals for post-school outcomes and plan relevant instructional activities.
Requirements
  • Must be a registered/licensed or pursuing a license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York state.
  • Must have TSSLD and Certificate of Clinical Competency.
