Cash Waggner & Associates is seeking a skilled Registered Land Surveyor to spearhead the establishment of our new office in Indianapolis. This role is pivotal in ensuring project success through meticulous fieldwork and comprehensive documentation utilizing cutting-edge technology and sophisticated equipment. Join us at the inception of a promising new location for our expanding firm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage collaboratively with engineers and fellow survey professionals on civil and site development, transportation design, and construction initiatives.
  • Contribute to a variety of projects, including roadways, airports, railways, drainage systems, and site development.
  • Oversee and guide field crew operations.
  • Examine boundary investigations and field surveys, including route and property surveys, as well as ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of the principles, practices, and tools utilized in computer-aided drafting.
  • Familiarity with civil engineering principles, construction specifications, plans, and regulations.
  • Awareness of industry-specific safety protocols and practices.
  • Ability to manage office operations efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain effective communication with team members and clients.
  • Willingness to travel locally within a 300-mile radius.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
  • Licensure in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan is preferred, or the capability to obtain licensure in these and other states within six months of employment.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to travel to various project locations.
  • Capability to access and navigate construction sites and job areas.
  • Proficiency in operating motorized equipment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in diverse field conditions.

Compensation:
Salary and hourly wages are commensurate with experience.
