Labor and delivery nurses play a crucial role in bringing new life into this world. As a labor and delivery nurse, you will be responsible for caring for women during labor and childbirth. Your primary focus will be on monitoring the health and well-being of both the mother and the baby. This includes coaching mothers and assisting doctors as needed. You will also prepare women and their families for the stages of giving birth and help patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born.

In addition to providing exceptional patient care, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care. This collaborative approach allows you to build strong relationships with your colleagues and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

The estimated salary range for this position is $85 per hour, based on a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour shifts. This amount may vary depending on experience and other factors. With tax-free stipends available for the location, you can expect a total compensation package that meets your needs and supports your financial goals.
