We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Northern Arizona Hospice, a part of LHC Group. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing professional, approved therapeutic modalities to patients in our inpatient setting.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality music therapy services to patients and their families, promoting comfort, relaxation, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on the benefits and applications of music therapy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of music therapy programs and services that meet the needs of our patients and community.
- Master's degree in Music Therapy or a related field.
- Experience working with patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
- Knowledge of hospice care and end-of-life issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
