Akoya Behavioral Health is a leading organization dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and their families.

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time ABA Therapist. As a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans and providing personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 care using the principles of ABA in the homes of the families we serve.
  • Implement individualized strength-based treatment plans.
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and support client development in areas including communication, leisure and independent play, social skills, and daily living skills.
  • Manage problematic/interfering behaviors through effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to the clinical team regarding client progress.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful environment at all times.
  • Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers, fostering collaborative relationships.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • High school degree or higher.
  • Preferably a portion of or complete bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or early education.
  • RBT certification in good standing preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Passion for working with children.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check.
