At Lee's Summit Medical Center, we invest in the growth and development of our nurses. Our Nurse Residency Program is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for new graduate nurses. The program includes advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, and mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.

Job Summary

The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing models. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN Resident provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers
  • Document administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
Requirements

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated registered nurse to join our team. Requirements include:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
