About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Industrial Hygiene Specialist to support our current projects and business development efforts in the areas of industrial hygiene. The successful candidate will have a strong background in applying OSHA, NIOSH, US Army Corps of Engineers, ANSI, and other health and safety codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform industrial hygiene assessments in various work environments.
  • Manage projects and develop new business opportunities in industrial hygiene and safety.
  • Conduct hazard assessments, employee exposure assessments, auditing, and workplace inspections.
  • Develop and present employee training programs.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Safety or Industrial Hygiene from an accredited college or university.
  • Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene or related field is preferred.
  • ABIH Certified Industrial Hygiene certification is required.
  • BCSP Certified Safety Professional certification is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in industrial hygiene and safety.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations common in construction safety.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
