Senior ASIC Design Engineer for High-Performance CPU Development

We are a leading supplier of embedded processor intellectual property, and we're looking for an experienced Senior ASIC Design Engineer to join our VLSI team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical advances in CPU architecture and a keen interest in tackling present-day verification problems.
About the Role- Work with a team of experienced architects, designers, and DV engineers to develop next-generation RISC-V CPUs.
- Communicate with peers to discuss technical details and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team.
- Design high-performance, low-power 32/64-bit processors and their associated SoC platforms.
- Communication with peers to discuss technical details and critiques, including the balance of performance, area, and power.
- Explicit CPU hardware design ranging from fetch units to load-store units and coherent memory access.
- Design quality analysis, including synthesis to assess frequency, area, and power quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar with 5-10+ years of experience.
- Strong expertise in ASIC Design, CPU design, and Microarchitecture.
- Experience with bus protocols such as AXI and CHI.
- Verilog, System Verilog, Synthesis, physical layout concepts, static timing analysis, clock domain crossing.
- Advanced CPU architecture and assembly languages.
The estimated salary for this role is $180,000 - $280,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes vacation/PTO, medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
