Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at ProMedica Health System. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in the operating room and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Care: Assist in preparing patients for surgery, conduct pre-operative assessments, and provide post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Surgical Assistance: Provide first and second assisting in the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience.
- Inpatient Care: Manage the care of patients in the hospital setting, including rounding, consults, and service patients.
- Acute Post-Operative Care: Focus on providing high-quality care to patients recovering from surgical procedures, including managing pain, wound care, and other post-operative complications.
- ICU Care: Provide critical care to patients in the intensive care unit, including managing complex medical issues and underlying cirrhosis or other liver and pancreas pathology.
- Medical Care: Manage the medical care of patients with complex issues, including cirrhosis, liver lesions, and pancreatic cancer.
- Education: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Licensure: Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio (PA-C).
- Certificate: Certificate of Authority to practice is required.
- CPR Certification: Current CPR certification is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Customer Satisfaction: Strong commitment to achieving customer/patient satisfaction.
