About REX Mortgage Broker Role

At Real Estate Exchange, we're seeking a skilled Mortgage Broker to join our team and help us establish a national mortgage brokerage that makes the home loan process easy and positive for homebuyers. As a Mortgage Broker, you'll work closely with prospective homebuyers to secure financing for their dream homes, guiding them through every step of the loan process and creating exceptional experiences for them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with prospective homebuyers to discuss REX's mortgage lending services
  • Identify and manage key lenders, including banks, insurance companies, and specialized finance companies
  • Analyze applicants' financial situations, including evaluation of financial histories, pay stubs, and tax information
  • Find possible loan solutions and prepare clients' applications for loan processing
  • Work with various lenders to find the best deal for each homebuyer
  • Originate loans to sell to lending institutions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant banking and finance laws
  • Explain legal aspects of the loan to the borrower, including payment terms and conditions

Requirements:
  • Licensed mortgage broker with 3+ years of mortgage broker experience
  • Sound knowledge of the real estate industry
  • Collaborative approach with product and development, sales, and marketing teams
  • Ability to juggle multiple clients and vendors simultaneously
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on detail
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using various apps and SaaS tools
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial, with a passion for building a business from scratch
  • Bachelor's degree
