Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology/CT Technician to join our team at Nexus HR Services in Riverside, CA. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and CT scanning, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic Imaging:
    • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment.
    • Assist patients with preparing for exams and provide reassurance and support throughout the procedure.
    • Maintain X-Ray/CT safety protocols and standards.
  • Patient Care:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and employers.
    • Assist with patient care and maintain patient flow.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Facilitate efficient billing process.
    • Participate in ensuring that the clinic and patient care area are safe and properly maintained.
  • Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Current Radiology Technician Permit and ARRT Certification.
    • Digital Radiography certificate.
    • Typing skills and basic computer skills.
    • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
    • CPR Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking.
  • ACLS certified.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk up to 12 hours a day.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, squat frequently during the day.
  • Ability to type and write up to 12 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull 20 pounds continuously.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds occasionally.
