Job Description:

Ambe Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct patient care services to ensure that patient needs are met.
  • Provide patient evaluation/assessment, establish and implement a plan of care, and educate patients/caregivers.
  • Interact professionally with patients and families, involving them in the plan of care.
  • Apply therapeutic principles and practices based on current evidence and knowledge, appropriate clinical judgment, and patient preference.
  • Adapt the delivery of services with consideration for patients' differences, values, preferences, and needs.
  • Produce quality documentation in a timely manner to support provision of care, according to current standards.
  • Collect and analyze data from selected outcome measures to monitor patient progress and the benefit of interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and hospital leadership.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain a level of clinical practice consistent with best practice standards.

Requirements:

  • Active Colorado Speech Language Pathologist License (DORA) or valid compact license.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification.
  • Valid Driver's License (Home Health only).
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence granted by the American Speech Language Hearing Association, in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions).
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
