Ferguson Construction is seeking a skilled Pre-Engineered Metal Building Estimator and Coordinator to contribute to our team's success.

Job Summary:

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to estimate material and labor costs, coordinate deliveries, and purchase parts and materials for pre-engineered metal buildings and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate material and labor costs for pre-engineered metal buildings and accessories, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate deliveries and ordering of building packages, working closely with operations teams to ensure timely project completion.
  • Purchase and manage inventory of parts and materials, including insulated metal wall panels, liner panels, insulation, roofing, trims, doors, and anchor bolts.
  • Collaborate with design teams to optimize building layouts and details, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement value engineering opportunities, reducing costs and improving project outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, reflecting the company's values and standards.
  • Analyze historical cost data to inform budgeting and pricing decisions, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Effectively communicate with estimating and operations teams across multiple office regions, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of steel erection, metal siding, roofing, and sheet metal work.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using industry-specific software and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with relevant technical training or field experience preferred.

The estimated salary for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
