Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Mount Diablo Unified School District.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish goals and objectives with the evaluator to ensure alignment with district standards.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies related to speech and language services.
  • Provide speech therapy services to students with exceptional needs, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized education programs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Administer and interpret formal and informal tests to assess speech and language disorders.
  • Design and facilitate programs to remediate language disorders, speech disorders, and the communicative effects of impaired hearing.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • California teaching credential or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with exceptional needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
