Position OverviewASRC Industrial is currently seeking a skilled Marine Coatings Blaster/Painter Helper to join our team of experienced professionals.

This role involves supporting Sandblaster/Painters, Foremen, or Supervisors in surface preparation, coatings application, and associated phases of marine coatings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing surfaces for coatings application, adhering to customer specifications and manufacturers' recommendations.
  • Assembling, maintaining, repairing, and cleaning blasting and painting equipment.
  • Mixing and thinning coatings according to manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Constructing protective enclosures to prevent overspray on customers' equipment.
  • Collaborating with Supervisors and colleagues in completing assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Loading, unloading, and storing equipment and supplies while maintaining a clean jobsite environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Able to follow specific directions and adapt to changing duties.
  • Previous experience working with various blasting equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of assigned tasks and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift work materials up to 100 lbs and work in extreme temperatures.
  • Safe maneuverability in confined spaces and through hatches, scaffolding, and ship hulls.
  • 2+ years of experience in marine coatings applications.

Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel to job sites as required by current projects.
