MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients and coils on the table that slides inside the MRI scanner, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
- Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality.
- Set technical parameters, observe image data on computer monitors, and recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accepted professional guidelines.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner, promoting a safe work environment and patient-focused care.
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
- Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
