Position Summary:

As the Head Chef, you will be the key leader in our kitchen operations. You will supervise daily kitchen functions, manage the culinary team, and guarantee that all dishes are prepared to the utmost standards. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and creative chef to demonstrate their culinary flair and leadership in a dynamic setting.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct all kitchen activities, including menu development, inventory oversight, and food preparation.
  • Create and implement seasonal menus that embody authentic Italian cuisine while integrating contemporary techniques and trends.
  • Ensure uniformity in food quality and presentation, adhering to the restaurant's standards.
  • Train, guide, and inspire kitchen personnel to foster a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor food expenses and waste, applying strategies for efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Stay updated with culinary trends and continuously improve the restaurant's offerings.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Head Chef, seasoned Sous Chef, or in a comparable role within a bustling restaurant setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking methodologies.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a diverse kitchen team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Passion for crafting high-quality, made-from-scratch dishes.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
