Role Responsibilities:
The Clinical Pharmacist will provide pharmaceutical care to our patient population, which includes:
- Consulting with healthcare providers and patients.
- Evaluating and interpreting prescriptions.
- Compounding and dispensing medications, vaccines, and other therapeutic agents.
- Ensuring compliance with established professional standards and applicable regulations.
This position will also serve as a resource for healthcare providers regarding medication-related inquiries and will assist in maintaining accurate prescription and inventory records.
Additional responsibilities include preparing necessary reports as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a valid pharmacist license in the State of California and have a minimum of one year of experience in a pharmacy setting. Proficiency in pharmacy software and third-party billing systems is required.
Graduation from an accredited pharmacy program is mandatory, along with demonstrated competency to work independently and manage pharmacy operations.
A background check is required for employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program is preferred, along with experience in a college or university health center.
