About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead the development of server hardware systems for Meta's Infrastructure organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end development of hardware products, including servers, modules, chassis, and subsystems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Lead technical program management of servers platform(s) for Meta Infrastructure in a matrix organization covering a range of areas (Data Center, Network, Hardware Systems, Software Engineering, Capacity Management).
  • Program Success: Own overall program success spanning the end-to-end development of the hardware product, including server, modules, chassis, subsystems spanning internal and external development work through successful ingestion into Meta's infrastructure and support of production workloads at scale.
  • Program Development: Develop and manage the overall program including defining scope, requirements, development model, schedules, and deliverables with engineering teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Influence broader roadmaps through product interception and market fit, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Hands-on Program Management: Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
  • Risk Management: Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation, and change management on programs.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements across multiple functional areas.
  • Vendor Management: Manage and drive strategic vendor engagements and deliveries.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Systems engineering, Hardware engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Technical Program Management: 3+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Management, or Engineering Management.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of server systems, CPUs, GPUs, Memory, ASICs.
  • Delivering Hardware Programs: Experience delivering hardware programs or products from inception to delivery.
  • User Needs: Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
  • Critical Thinking: Experience operating autonomously across multi-disciplinary teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership to develop systems, solutions, and products.
  • Organizational Skills: Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hardware Project Life Cycle Management: Experience in hardware project life cycle management.
  • Data Center Architecture: Experience with data center architecture and deployment.
  • Vendor Management: Experience working with ODM's and other vendors.
  • Start-up Environment: Experience working in a start-up environment and technical infrastructure management.
