- Conduct stormwater calculations, including environmental site design techniques.
- Prepare accurate construction cost estimates.
- Generate technical reports that effectively communicate project information.

- Assist in plan processing and permitting within local jurisdictions (experience is a plus).
- Independently contribute to conceptual grading analyses and site layouts.
- Prepare due diligence/site analysis reports, encompassing water and sewer assessments, drainage plans, engineer's opinions of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention calculations, and civil design elements.
- Produce final civil design drawings that meet industry standards.
- Utilize Civil3D to create alignments, work with offsets, generate surface TINs and contour maps, produce surface profiles and layout profiles, create and edit grades, develop mass diagrams and earthwork computations, construct pipe networks, and create drainage maps with flow arrows.
- 2-5 years of experience in land development drafting, design, and processing.
- Proficiency in Civil3D and experience designing and preparing plans for water, sewer, roads, storm drains, traffic control, grading, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and flood studies.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil3D, construction documents, and technical knowledge.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, HEC-RAS, Flow Master, Tr-55, Tr-20, HY-8, and other software commonly used in civil engineering and standard office work.
- Strong attention to detail, professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, collaborative team player, and self-motivated individual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
