This role is pivotal within Mytosynth Nutraceuticals LLC, reporting directly to the Controller. The Financial Accountant will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities including data entry, financial analysis, monthly reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports to accurately reflect the organization's financial status.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end accounting close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with company policies and GAAP.
  • Oversee the completion of monthly account reconciliations, managing balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate period reflection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting-related inquiries and provide insights into general ledger activities.
  • Manage fixed asset processes, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and compliance.
  • Handle accounts payable accruals, including outstanding purchase orders and invoices pending processing after period close.
  • Support treasury operations through daily banking transactions and store-level activities.
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance in financial reporting.
  • Facilitate audits, including bank reviews, financial audits, and tax compliance.
  • Develop documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Enhance recordkeeping and accounting systems utilizing current technology.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess various solutions logically.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
  • Capability to identify complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to resolve challenges.
