Job Summary

Village Caregiving - Toledo is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients, promoting their independence, and supporting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings, promoting social interaction and community engagement
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment, performing light housekeeping duties as needed
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition, ensuring timely communication with healthcare professionals
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a sense of connection and belonging
Requirements
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
  • Current CPR certification and willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Physical endurance to complete required tasks, with the ability to lift, bend, and move as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development
