Job Description

Rentex Audio Visual & Computer Rentals is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and safely operating delivery vehicles to ensure timely and efficient delivery of equipment to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with equipment and supplies
  • Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery of equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring accurate and timely delivery of equipment
  • Maintain regular communication with dispatchers to ensure smooth delivery operations
  • Learn and familiarize yourself with regular delivery locations and routes
  • Scan equipment in and out of our rental system accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct regular checks for missing equipment and report any findings to management
  • Comply with company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid in-state driver's license to operate vehicles up to 25,999 pounds
  • DOT medical card and clean driving record for the past 3-5 years; no DUIs
  • Prefer at least 1 year of verifiable experience driving cargo vans, cube trucks, box trucks, and straight trucks up to 26,000 pounds
