Rehabilitation Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Rehabilitation Technician at Floral Long Term Care.
Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Technician will work closely with our rehabilitation team to provide exceptional patient care and support in our in-patient subacute facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from rehabilitation areas
- Assist therapists in setting up and breaking down therapy sessions
- Maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
- Work collaboratively with the team to prepare for group activities and therapy sessions
- Foster a positive and encouraging working environment for staff and patients
- Perform clerical duties, filing, and computer work as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills required
Physical Demands:
- Lift and transfer patients to and from all surfaces a minimum of 10 times per day
- Lift approximately 50-70 pounds a minimum of 10 times per day
- Proficient in using hands for repetitive grasping, pushing-pulling, and fine motor manipulation
Pay Rate: $18 an hour
