Position Summary:
The Compliance Specialist will oversee the management of Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), fuel consumption metrics, International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) compliance, as well as the permitting, titling, and registration of DOT vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement compliance policies and procedures to adhere to regulatory standards.
- Perform routine audits and evaluations to pinpoint areas of non-compliance, including IFTA reporting and vehicle registrations.
- Generate comprehensive reports detailing compliance status and findings for management evaluation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve compliance challenges and offer guidance on industry best practices.
- Remain informed about regulatory changes and compliance laws at both state and federal levels.
- Support the creation of training initiatives to inform staff about compliance protocols.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in compliance oversight within the transportation or logistics sector.
- In-depth understanding of DOT regulations and other pertinent state and federal compliance standards.
- Exceptional report writing capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Excel and SharePoint.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with drivers, clients, and regulatory representatives across various locations.
