Position Summary:
This role involves the meticulous inspection of a diverse range of components, assemblies, and materials to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. The inspector will operate under limited supervision, requiring a keen eye for detail and the ability to make sound judgments in complex situations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct inspections of machined parts, assemblies, and materials to verify compliance with regulatory standards such as Military Standards, ASTM, and ANSI.
2. Generate detailed reports of inspection findings and communicate results to relevant stakeholders, including project engineers.
3. Set up and calibrate measurement and testing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
4. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on various materials using techniques like radiography and ultrasonic testing.
5. Engage with regulatory agencies and customers during audits, providing necessary documentation and oversight.
6. Monitor quality control processes in accordance with statistical methods.
7. Assist in the procurement of materials and services required for inspections.

Qualifications:
Applicants typically require an associate degree or equivalent experience in quality inspections, with a minimum of three years in the field. Candidates should possess:
- Proficiency in inspecting components to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Experience with measuring and testing equipment, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and the ability to perform First Article Inspections.
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and AS9102 standards.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management.

Work Environment:
Employees are expected to adhere to safety regulations and operate in a manner consistent with established procedures. The ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting is essential.
