Responsibilities- Administer IV infusions and injections for patients with chronic illnesses, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring for potential side effects.
- Assist in the preparation of biologics, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Educate patients on the risks, benefits, and potential side effects of medications, promoting informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with ordering providers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Communicate effectively with referring providers, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Review patient records, diagnostic tests, and lab results to support diagnosis and treatment.
- Stay up-to-date on clinical updates and issues, sharing knowledge with the Medical Director and Nursing Director.
- Provide leadership and guidance to registered nurses and other staff members, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or post-master level certificate in pediatrics.
- Current BLS/AED and ACLS certification.
- Minimum two years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or ambulatory setting, with a focus on pediatric and adult care.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in computer skills and experience with EMR systems.
The hourly pay range for this role is expected to be between $65-$72. Actual base pay may vary based on factors such as experience, subject matter expertise, and geographic location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an annual cash bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
