We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team on a local contract basis. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and capturing high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Capture high-quality images using various imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, and X-ray.
- Analyze images to identify abnormalities and provide diagnostic information to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted license from any US state or territory.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Valid BLS through the American Heart Association.
- ARRT certification.
- At least one year of recent experience in medical imaging and a similar setting.
