We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team at Olympic Industries, a leading provider of steel fabrication services. As a Laser Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot laser cutting and engraving machines
  • Read prints, work orders, or production schedules to ensure accurate production
  • Use tools to ensure efficiency and correct operation of the machine
  • Use laser cutting and punching machines to create metal shapes and holes
  • Ensure production meets OI quality standards by utilizing internal quality processes and SOP
  • Assist with material breakout and movement of parts to next production area when assigned
Requirements:
  • Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors, and other measuring tools
  • Have good math ability and problem-solving skills
  • Read and interpret blueprints efficiently
  • Stand continuously and lift objects up to 50 pounds
  • Demonstrate safety in the laser operation process
