Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, oversee, and evaluate significant projects and processes for a variety of clients, including planning, execution, and final reporting.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships while developing connections with new clients and key stakeholders.
  • Guide team members in creating engagement strategies and ensure compliance with all firm standards.
  • Analyze engagement performance reports, handle client billing, and implement improvements to enhance profitability.
  • Lead technical research initiatives, including topic identification, delegation of research tasks, and summarization of findings for clients.
  • Conduct in-depth technical research on complex issues.
  • Address intricate client challenges in collaboration with engagement teams to devise effective solutions.
  • Participate in departmental training to ensure compliance and knowledge enhancement.
  • Assist the Department Manager with recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Engage in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm's reach.
  • Contribute to special projects aimed at improving departmental and firm-wide operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a professional services environment is required.
  • Possession of a CPA license or an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing client engagements and leading teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of IRS regulations is necessary.
  • Experience in conducting complex technical research and publishing findings is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in business development and securing new clients.
  • Strong leadership capabilities are essential.
