Job Overview

Position: Sales Floor Associate
Availability: Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.

We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about health and wellness products and eager to assist customers with their inquiries. While previous experience is beneficial, we offer continuous training and development to enhance your skills.

This role emphasizes delivering prompt and friendly customer service. You will report directly to the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, and your weekly hours will not exceed 29.

Key Responsibilities

General Duties:

  • Adhere to store policies and operational procedures.
  • Contribute positively as a team member.
  • Engage respectfully with colleagues.
  • Follow the work schedule provided by management.
  • Ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
  • Manage phone calls and messages efficiently.
  • Complete tasks assigned by management.
  • Notify management of any security concerns or emergencies promptly.
  • Participate in departmental and all-staff meetings.
  • Assist in training new employees as needed.

Customer Service:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every opportunity.
  • Welcome customers warmly.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with customers.
  • Relay customer feedback to the appropriate personnel.

Stocking Responsibilities:

  • Maintain fully stocked shelves and organize products.
  • Rotate stock to ensure freshness.
  • Label items accurately and report pricing issues.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.
  • Support department managers with inventory tasks.

Cashier Duties:

  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Request assistance as needed to ensure efficient service.
  • Follow cashiering procedures as outlined in the policy manual.
  • Bag purchases and assist customers as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Handle customer returns appropriately.

Store Maintenance:

  • Keep the store environment clean and orderly.
  • Ensure restrooms are well-maintained and stocked.
  • Monitor equipment condition and safety.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The work environment is primarily indoors, with some outdoor exposure to varying weather conditions. Physical activities include standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
