The Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova is in search of a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction through effective maintenance operations. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be tasked with performing a variety of maintenance duties across the hotel, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Key responsibilities will encompass refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general upkeep of the hotel premises. This role requires responsiveness to maintenance requests and directives from management. This is a full-time role requiring flexibility for AM and/or PM shifts, including weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma and necessary mechanical certifications or equivalent secondary education required.
  • A minimum of two years of maintenance or engineering experience in a multi-unit setting, such as hotels with 200 or more rooms, or similar facilities like apartments or healthcare establishments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial building systems, including HVAC and related BAS/CMMS systems, industrial kitchen equipment, Life Safety Systems, and Emergency Generators.
