Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Kroger. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to meat preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Prepare and process meat products according to company standards and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on meat products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the meat department and surrounding areas.
• Restock and rotate meat products to ensure freshness and availability.
• Operate meat cutting equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
• Participate in inventory management and ordering of meat products.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a meat cutting or food preparation role preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
