We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Therapy Associates. As a member of our Early Intervention program, you will play a vital role in helping young children achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
The Physical Therapist will work closely with our team of professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with special needs. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and providing therapy services to children in their homes or in our clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical abilities and develop treatment plans to address their needs.
- Provide individualized therapy services to children in their homes or in our clinic.
- Collaborate with our team of professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and special education teachers, to ensure comprehensive support for children and their families.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to keep them informed of their child's progress and provide guidance on how to support their child's development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy and incorporate this knowledge into your practice.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program and be licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
