As a Senior Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles in a timely and efficient manner, while adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair customer vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques
- Perform multi-point inspections and repair orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including store managers, service consultants, and customers
- Recommend services necessary to keep customer vehicles in running condition and properly document all recommendations in customer files
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Work flexible schedules, Monday through Friday
- Previous automotive technician/mechanic experience required
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
