Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuroscience Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of California, Davis Health. As a Neuroscience Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population of neurosurgical, neurotrauma, neurology, and stroke patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a wide range of neurological conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Current California Registered Nurse license.
  • At least two years of experience in neuroscience nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of neuroscience nursing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) certification.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
