Job Overview

As a Technical Procedure Author, you will be responsible for creating, revising, and enhancing operational procedures that enable staff to safely and effectively execute tasks related to preventive maintenance. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring that all procedures are clear, comprehensive, and compliant with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhering to established work instructions and relevant operational manuals.
  • Facilitating and coordinating the review process for procedures, including addressing feedback and comments.
  • Implementing safety measures, gathering quality and performance metrics, and confirming that procedures are executable as documented through thorough verification and validation processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical writing for procedures in a commercial, weapons complex, or nuclear facility is required.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening examination is necessary.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
