Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met.
  • Provide for the basic comfort of patients and implement nursing interventions identified in the plan of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress thoroughly and accurately.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • One or more years of nursing experience within the clinical area of service provided by the facility preferred.
  • Current LPN/LVN license as required by the state.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
