Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently delivering roofing materials to designated job sites.
  • Acting as a representative of ERS by providing courteous and professional customer service.
  • Meeting the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and performing manual tasks as required.
  • Communicating effectively and demonstrating the coordination and physical capability to operate vehicles safely.
  • Lifting and transporting items weighing up to 75 pounds regularly to complete job duties.
Qualifications:

  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Possession of a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with Airbrake and Hazmat endorsements in good standing.
  • Clean driving record.
  • OSHA-approved Powered Industrial Equipment certification (training provided).
  • Ability to lift items exceeding 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Successful completion of a DOT drug test and background check.
  • Capability to access rooftops for specific deliveries.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and occasionally at heights.
  • Previous experience with Knuckle Boom and Moffett equipment is highly desirable.
Work Environment:

The work environment prioritizes safety, punctuality, and excellence in customer service, both on-site and off-site, as drivers may need to navigate multiple delivery locations. Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, including inclement weather.

Physical Demands:

Regular activities may include standing, walking, performing manual tasks, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as part of your duties. Additionally, you must be capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 75 pounds consistently.

Position Type and Expected Hours:

This is a full-time position, with workdays typically scheduled from Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturdays. Work hours may vary.

Travel:

No travel is required for this position.

Education and Experience:

Education: Valid Class "A" or "B" Commercial Driver's License with Airbrake and Hazmat endorsements in good standing.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of driving experience is preferred.
