Endoscopy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting endoscopic procedures by preparing equipment, field, and managing specimens.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as necessary.
- Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts and taking appropriate action.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings in patient condition.
- Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab areas.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
